Nice discovery of this place in Budapest, you can have both sweet and savory breakfast, various options for all tastes even for celiacs, the food is of quality, the service is efficient (in only one case we were greeted by an incompetent and exalted girl) the young people who welcome and serve have proven to be patient and professional, the prices are in line with the quality, highly recommended!

Cirkuz is THE place that you cannot miss if you feel like having breakfast or brunch during your visit to Budapest. The place is super well decorated, the service is very cordial and friendly and the food is extraordinary. The kitchen has a window near the door and you can see how they prepare the food. Impeccable cleaning. Very reasonable prices and in line with other places that are much lower in every sense. They have gluten-free bread. Although they do not guarantee that there is no cross contamination, they prepare all the dishes making the adjustments that are within their reach. The coffee is very good too.

I have been here 3x times, and every time, the dishes were simply delicious. The kitchen is willing to cater to your asks (within reason). If you are gluten restricted, make sure to ask for alternatives as they aren't displayed on the menu. Gluten alternatives are available for non-sweets. The portion size is good. Pricing is on the higher end, but the place can maintain it due to the constant stream of customers. Service is courteous, friendly, helpful, and patient despite the large crowd. Expect to queue outside between 30-45 min. Once you are inside, the queue time is 15-20 min. Resrvations are not possible, take away is (without needing to queue). If you come with luggage, expect to leave it by the bar. If you are single or two, expect to be seated with someone. This is not a place to work from on your laptop etc. The sign of no laptops by the entrance is a reminder of this. The atmosphere is simple, with bright colors.
