City Cakes & Cafe

We LOVE City Cakes!! I am so grateful that we have such an incredible place to enjoy treats and not have to worry about our allergies (we have gluten, egg, and peanut). They take great care of us every time. My personal favorites are the gluten free sugar cookie, snickerdoodle, and donuts! We stop by any time we are in the neighborhood (which is sadly not very often!). I will note that we have ordered a few of the gluten free, vegan cakes and they aren't my personal favorite - it's quite dense. However, I love some of the other options and tend to stick more to the cookies and other treats that they make like I listed above.

We very recently had to go gluten-free because of my daughter's celiacs's diagnosis, so this is all very new and overwhelming. I went into the bakery needing some cupcakes for a family event. Beth was at the counter, and she was absolutely amazing! While I was there, someone texted me a food label to review; Beth came out from behind the counter to help me read the label. I will definitely be going back in the future, not just for these amazing looking cupcakes but because of the level of caring that I received as an overwhelmed parent.

I had ordered some cupcakes for a baby shower. They had several different flavors. White, chocolate, marble, red velvet, lemon poppy seed, carrot, and 2 others. I ordered 12, and it was around 31 dollars. Everyone enjoyed them. They also have lots of gluten-free options. I'd go there again.
