City Island Lobster House

Servers are very professional. No mistakes after 4 visits. Seafood is fresh. Free salads are acceptable. Copious servings of garlic bread. More fish varieties and gluten-free would be a good addition to the menu.

Not only is this restaurant family and adult friendly, the food is amazing, they hustle to make sure you have a great experience - not just food - but an OVERALL great experience. The valet parkers are always friendly and helpful. Not only is the food delicious it is abundant (whew it can be alot); But I wanted to let the management team know about their team member Melissa!!!! This review is literally a year overdue and but I was there recently as well and when I saw her I immediately requested for her to be our server. 5 stars is an understatement for the service she provides. I know it's cliche' to say please give her a raise - but honestly I can understand why people say it; She adds so much value to Lobster House and as business owners I know they would love to know who on their staff adds both intangible and tangible value to their business to keep them both reputable and profitable. He personality is top notch, her service is unwavering and she is such a pleasant to have serve you. Thank you Melissa for your light hearted spirit that shows in your work!!! Also, thank you for helping me with my dietary needs! I can't have gluten and she confirms with the kitchen to make sure I was able to eat certain foods. Lobster house please acknowledge her in some form! Thank you. I cant always afford to go there but when I do, I will definitely be asking for Ms. Melissa !
