TLDR: specializes in gluten free! very celiac friendly My celiac friend and I were in town and made sure to scope out all of the restaurants she could eat at. Civico takes gluten free very seriously. Her pasta was delicious and I couldn't even really tell it was gluten free. Our waiter was very kind and even helped out with some wine suggestions. The bread is my favorite part. As the gluten eating friend, I often miss out on bread because we just don't get it for the table but Civico passes it over in a brown bag which is great for me to take to go but also great for my celiac friend because no stray crumbs will get near her! Yes, thats excessive but, for the serious celiac, it can be an issue. 10/10 highly recommend!

Gluten-free pasta is not celiac safe (shared pasta water). Entrees like the salmon can be made 100% gluten-free.

I’ve wondered about this place for a while because the reviews are so split. I think it’s all the vegan and gluten free diners rating it so highly, and I’m glad that they offer those options for people with those dietary preferences. For everyone else, it’s a skip. Service was only ok and absolutely nothing was memorable about Civico. Food was bland yet also too salty. Drinks were too sweet. Pasta was supposedly “made in house” but tasted like it came out of a box. Would not return or recommend unless you’re vegan.
