Clermont Fish House

We showed up on a Friday night 30 minutes before close. They welcomed us anyway. My kids have gluten issues and I am allergic to rice. I’m assuming it was the manager who came out and talked to us. He was SO nice and went above and beyond to accommodate all of us to be able to have a safe meal! It was amazing and if we lived closer we would be regulars! Such a rare treat for my gluten free kids to get fried fish! Thank you!

I was searching for gluten free options on google in Clermont and Clermont Fish House came up. I read their reviews so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! Excellent GF fish and chips (my chips were sweet potato). 😋 Their portions are good size and everyone in our party loved their food. The customer service was stellar (rare these days). We had the honor to meet the owners and they were lovely. Highly recommend Clermont Fish House! Delicious food with great service! 10/10!

My server was kind and attentive, atmosphere could use a little more comfort and definitely some actual dishware and utensils instead of throwaway. Having frequented many pubs in England and Scotland, I know what to look for. The food quality is pretty good, especially to be accommodated with my gluten allergy. My meal included the mushy peas I substituted for chips. Those were fine but such a tiny portion. And the fish portion was One piece, and so very small. This was an extreme disappointment as it was the “star” of the show. The experience could have been so much better.
