We enjoyed our meal at Clocked! They offered a gluten free bun. The fries aren't fried in a dedicated fryer making cross contamination possible for those with gluten allergies, but they were upfront and honest when I asked about it. The dining area is small but it has the Athens charm!

This is a charming diner. However when I inquired about their ability to meet my daughter’s food allergy (which would have meant cleaning a spot on the cook top to ensure no egg contamination) the response was they were too busy to accommodate allergies which was disappointing. The food smelled great but we had to leave and go to a restaurant willing to accommodate her allergy. I advise calling ahead to check if you have any allergies beyond gluten. We will not be back because we cannot predict when they may deem themselves slow enough to accommodate.

Wow! Calling it a diner does not give this establishment enough credit. Clocked has a creative menu that offers vegan and gluten free options. Upon waltzing in you are greeted by an eclectic homey 1950’s meets the 1970’s vibe with a splash of Radiohead feeling you immediately feel like these are my people. The accommodating seating gives you options of inside, an enclosed patio or umbrella tables on the additional patio. Our server J was great at listening to our orders and everything was right! Our party of four got our food in a reasonable amount of amount of time and it was nice and fresh. The portion sizes are large. We ordered the friendship burger the bacon jelly the meteor and the ring of fire. Our friend who ordered the bacon jelly asked for her garlic mayo on the side instead of on her burger and used it to dip her fries not needing to order an additional dipping sauce. The dipping sauces are fun. I ordered the fried pickles and loved the feta dip I ordered. If you are looking for a place in Athens to eat that is consistently good that can feed you well and have good service where they listen this is your spot.
