Ol’ Clyde's Table and Tavern

Stopped in Cleveland to visit some friends and we ate at this location. It is a smaller restaurant where other people chairs bump into yours because the tables are so squished together. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and brisket sandwich on a gluten free bun with coleslaw as my side. The sandwich had a good amount of brisket on it but bit was it salty. The bun was frozen and still very cold and hard when I bit into it. The coleslaw was fantastic! The waiter rushed us out basically. As soon as you had your last bite in your mouth he would appear and remove the plate. I was chewing and had to ask with a mouth full of food to not take my fork so I could eat my coleslaw. Very limited on choices for gluten free eaters. Everyone thought their food was OK. No complaints.

Very neat restaurant! We were a party of 8 and although we should’ve called ahead of time, we waited about 40 mins to be seated. Staff was friendly and caring. They have a nice waiting area upstairs. Food was good, tea was good, beer was good. Very accommodating to our friend who has celiac (can’t have gluten). Over all- will return to this place👍
