Coastal Cookery

The place looked very clean, and the welcome we received was warm. We chose to sit on the deck, which was a great spot! Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered a gluten-free fish burger, but it arrived with batter on the fish (though they did provide a gluten-free bun). Since I’m not celiac, I just removed the batter, but it wasn’t ideal. They did offer to replace it, but by then my group already had their meals, so I didn’t want to delay everyone. The fish was also quite greasy. We were two couples, and to top it off, the bills were mixed up—some of our items ended up on our friends’ bill and vice versa. Maybe it was just an off night, but overall the experience didn’t match the nice setting.

Great food and great deck! Deck is covered and they provide blankets if cold. They do amazing mixed drinks and were accommodating of my gluten and dairy allergy.
