Had an amazing experience overall, however, I have a gluten allergy, so I ordered a gluten free crust. My pizza came out within 10 min which I thought was super quick! It looked amazing and taste fantastic. However, when I received my bill I noticed there was not an additional charge for a GF crust, when I pointed out that my bill was incorrect the bartender said they would fix it. 5 minutes later I was informed that the pizza was not GF and that they would make me a GF one to take home. I was thankful for the correction of GF, however I was still charged for the pizza which was not GF. They offered me an extra glass of wine free of charge which I accepted, but did not realize I would still be charged full price for the pizza.
Overall, again, the atmosphere was amazing, service was superb, but attention to detail (specifically allergies) was lacking. Thankfully I don’t have celiac disease, I have a moderate wheat allergy - so I was extremely sick but I was not going in anaphylactic shock by all means.
I would still recommend this place to my friends, but I forewarn anyone with an allergy to triple check that they ring in the correct GF crust. I understand that accidents happen, and I know that by going out to eat I am taking a risk, I just had hoped with their GF crust option that my risk would be extremely minimal. I would hate for anyone with a severe allergy to mistakenly get a regular crust and it be detrimental.
