Coffee#1 Bicester

Usually pop in to get a gluten free cappuccino cake and coffee. Sometimes it's fresh, sometimes a bit dry but OK. There's not much gf choice. It's that or a dry sponge or the ubiquitous brownie or a new but v pricey meringue. So this week they had neither cappuccino cake nor any clue what was allergen-free. Apparently had to stand and look up their website, download the allergen list, and check, while in the q for coffee. Why can't things just be labelled or a print out available? The cakes were labelled before! So: lack of choice, staff couldn't care, no information to hand. So will go elsewhere next time. Pity because restaurant and coffee are good and there's space for toddlers and babies.

Great coffee shop, plenty of indoor seating. Vegan and gluten free options available.
