The coffee, food and service here are superb. I only ever order a latte or americano but whatever roast they're using for that is a good one. I'm a gluten free person and they have some of the best gf baked goods I've ever had. Peanut butter cookie is dreamy and then their baker makes these gooey oat bars that I will be dreaming about long after I head back to Colorado. You'll be served by an eclectic group of people who are chic and edgy but also kind - you never get the "we're too cool for you" vibe here like you do at other locally owned coffee shops (especially in college towns).
I was in Gainesville for two weeks and needed a place to work remotely. This was the perfect spot. Their wifi is strong enough for video meetings without hiccup (another coffee shop rarity) and they have this tiny library space in the back that is perfect for being in a meeting and talking without disrupting other patrons. The atmosphere isn't for everyone. It's clean but not modern, unapologetically weird without an ironic pretense.
