I’ve had takeout from Coletta a few times, but recently had the pleasure of dining in for the first time, and it did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was fast. As someone who has a gluten-free diet, I truly appreciate the wide variety of options they offer.
The pizza is outstanding. I’ve tried both the Margherita and the Wild Mushroom Truffle and I can honestly say the crust is incredible. It’s so perfectly crispy and flavorful that I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free. This is hands down the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had.
I’ve also tried the vodka sauce pasta and the Carbonara. Both were fantastic! I was especially impressed with the Carbonara. I have no idea how they managed to achieve such a rich, yolky flavor, but it was spot on. I highly recommend both of these pasta dishes.
There are still a few other menu items I’m eager to try, but I’d be remiss not to mention the mocktail I had. It was one of the most unique and delicious mocktails I’ve ever tasted. Though I can’t remember the exact name, it featured smoked cinnamon sticks, pomegranate, chocolate, and apple, a truly delightful combination.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry panna cotta for dessert, I do wish they had a more substantial gluten-free dessert option, like a tiramisu or something rich and chocolatey.
All in all, Coletta is fantastic and I will definitely be back for more!
