College Lawn Hotel

Great bar for a sunny afternoon. When we arrived we thought we were in luck becauee there was barely anyone outside in the lawn area... But it was just that most of the tables outside were reserved and people were yet to arrive so we had to sit inside. Would be great if the outdoor set up had some umbrellas with standing room just to help people be out there on a nice day. Overall, good venue and thankful for the Gluten Free Hahn Super Dry beer, can't get that anywhere!

Really disappointing with last night's experience. It felt like the staff didn't know what gluten was or vegan meant at all. We're completely fine with restaurants/pubs that don't offer these options but when it's advertised as such you would hope they know what they're doing. This place does not. After explicitly stating coeliac and vegan 3 times over, it came to be confirmed that the burger was not gluten free. Some of the other menu items are listed as Vegan, they're not. This is half way during the meal we find this out. Shocking. Me and my partner had the worst experience after eating the food. Fine to have a drink and chill but recommend you move on elsewhere for food (even the non vegan food was poor).
