Corkscrew Tavern Pizzeria

After a long hiking day, I was very grateful for the gluten-free pizzas here! I also appreciated having multiple white pizza options (as a white pizza lover, I always want more of these on the menu!). The gluten-free pizza is solid – a pretty typical, no-flares thin crust. Overall, the price is a little high for the pizza quality, but it seems comparable to other restaurants in this area. Service was great and extremely quick!

Tried to eat here two nights in a row. Both nights we arrived approximately one hour before close (8:05 pm on Saturday and 7:10 pm on Sunday) but were turned away. Tonight they told us they “ran out of dough” but there were lots of other things on the menu and one of us was going to order gluten-free dough anyway. Maybe they should change their signage to say they close an hour before they actually do.

Great gluten free pizza! Ask them to butter the bottom of the crust! Perfect!
