Life-threatening negligence – do not eat here if you have food allergies. We have been regulars here for years, but our experience on New Year’s Day was beyond unacceptable: It was dangerous. Our 9-year-old son has an anaphylactic allergy to wheat, which we clearly communicated to our server. What followed was a series of negligent failures: • Multiple waiters gave us conflicting information on which plates were Gluten-Free. • One waiter explicitly confirmed a dish was "always gluten-free." Ten minutes after our son had already started eating it, the same waiter returned to tell us it was actually NOT gluten-free. • When we confronted the staff, the waiter attempted to deny he had even served the plate. The most appalling part was the manager’s response. He informed us that the restaurant does not honour food allergies when they are busy or on holidays. He also admitted that the waitstaff are not kept informed of this "policy,” so it was understandably not our waitress’s fault. But to be told that a restaurant prioritizes "being busy" over the life and safety of a child is horrifying. To make matters worse, we were forced to pay a mandatory tip for a meal that resulted in an allergy incident and a total failure of service and safety protocols. If you have a serious food allergy, avoid this establishment. They are ill-equipped to handle allergies and, by their own admission, will prioritize speed over your medical safety without ever telling you they’ve served you poison.

Tried two items for take out yesterday (9 Sept. 21); on the left is fried rice noodles with sliced beef and XO sauce (D11) and BBQ pork with honey (C6). Very tasty! I will definitely try more dishes from their extensive menu. (Stir Fried Lobster gets my mouth watering.) The portions are very generous, as other reviewers have mentioned, and they only use vegetable oil. There is also a gluten free option. Inside is very nicely decorated. There were a few tables enjoying a late lunch and their selection also looked and smelled great.
