Continental Tavern

Had my baby shower upstairs and it was perfect. Very nice space for about 30-40 people over a few hours. They set up the buffet in a separate room so people mixed and mingled more as they went in and out for food. Easy to get to from Yardley Septa station, and nice Central location in that Main Street area. They also did a good job providing vegetarian and gluten free options for our guests.

Local tavern The continental is a local place which gets a pretty hard-core regular crowd at the bar. The place considers itself a "Community" location. The folks are very nice, service is very friendly and everyone is always having a nice time. This is BUCKS County here. The food is decent and typical for bar fare; however, there are some thoughtful options like gluten-free rolls for your burger available if you need that. Wings are good, nachos are very good. Again, bar food. The dining room is nice and there is a small patio area at the front entrance which looks over the main drag in Yardley against "Lake Afton." A nice time to visit is early afternoon. After 5 the place really fills up. There is always some vibrant discussion going on and expect to hear more than a few political conversations in the tavern.
