Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Montgomery, IL

Food was fantastic and our server, Alex P was absolutely amazing! It was a busy Friday night on Mother’s Day weekend but he was very attentive and checked in often. My husband has a gluten allergy and ordered from the gluten free menu and didn’t realize they have versions with gluten of the same dishes on the normal menu so he didn’t realize he needed to specify for the GF version when ordering. He didn’t realize he had eaten gluten until after he finished the meal and we asked for a gf desert option. It was an unfortunate mistake on my husband’s part for not checking. The hostess had given him the gf menu right when we sat down, so I don’t think the server knew he even had the gf menu, or I’m sure he would have checked. Once we all realized, The manager came out to check on him and offered a free GF entree for our next visit. Despite this mistake, our meal was great, service was great, atmosphere was great. We will be back again, and hopefully Alex P will be working that night as well.

We came with friends for happy hour. They have a good gluten free menu but I didn’t see anything on the happy hour food menu that was Gf. I asked our server, Cici, if they could make the sliders gf. She checked with the chef and he said he would! I really appreciate them accommodating my needs and it was delicious!. Cici said they were going to be expanding the gluten free menu in the next year.
