Cooper's Speciality Coffee and Tap House

Took grandchildren for lunch, both enjoyed though salad was predominantly capsicum (& left uneaten by granddaughter), afraid she wasn't fussed on chips with her fish either. Grandson & I ate all of ours though Went out of their way to cater for my tomato allergy & also gluten free (I had a hamburger) Was easy for me to get there by bus

We were really excited to try this cafe but were left very disappointed. Our meals took over 40 minutes, and when my avocado arrived it was very small and not worth the $20+ it cost. The gluten free toast was warm and not toasted, so it was soggy underneath the avocado. The meal was very plain. And very small. The gluten free toast on the kids meal was toasted so I’m unsure why mine wasn’t. The drinks took a very long time to arrive. Everything served in take away cups as well. My iced latte was warmer than room temp so when I asked for a cold replacement I wasn’t offered an apology. We ordered a take away cake and had to ask for it twice because it was left on the bench and not actually delivered to us for over 10 minutes. The coffee itself was nice and the staff member serving us was incredibly lovely, but the experience was a complete let down. I understand they were busy-ish at the time and we were prepared to wait, but what we received and the chaotic way things are delivered to the table wasn’t great. The lady behind the coffee machine went to town on the bell until it actually bounced off the bench and onto the floor and a customer had to pick it up for her. Such a shame because the location is spectacular and the potential is huge.
