Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Lansing, MI

Very happy to have Cooper's Hawk available to be a regular evening out! They have a great variety for those with celiac or gluten problems. They even had a bread starter, and I could enjoy a full dining experience! The only reason for the 4 on the atmosphere was due to the sound level getting high and I couldn't hear from across the table. I will be back again! May even join the wine club! A great variety available!

Amazing atmosphere, good service, great food, huge portions, and good wine. The tasting is a great time too, we got in early before our reservation and did the tasting, very reasonably priced for the amount of samples you get. The food is very good. They have a dedicated gluten free menu if you ask for it and the risotto was great.

Overall it was an excellent first experience at Coopers Hawk. They have an amazing gluten free menu! Yes, they have a gluten free menu, not just 3 gluten free options that involve removing components. We both had filet & I would let recommend either but the appetizer, & sides were delicious. The steak was good but not memorable. The service was a bit slower but they made up for it with friendliness & a nice atmosphere. They were extremely busy & also took a little extra time because they take so much care & precautions when preparing gluten free items. The manager came to greet us & explain how they handle gluten free meals & all meals with an allergy. So thoughtful & my celiac tummy greatly appreciates being considered & included. Thank you Coopers Hawk for giving me a great, safe dining experience.
