Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse - Libertyville

It was my husband and my first time eating here and we will definitely be returning, and soon! Everything from the moment we walked in the door was perfect. We were out to celebrate our anniversary, we were greeted by multiple smiling faces, and were given a choice of where we’d like to sit. We sat at the bar to enjoy the happy hour specials. Saul was our server/bartender and he was fantastic. I had lots of questions and he answered each one of them patiently and thoughtfully. Throughout the hour and a half that we were there, it began to get quite busy and Saul was behind the bar by himself. He remained calm and collected while still being very busy. My husband is gluten-free, they did a great job accommodating that, the only suggestion would be to get some gluten-free bread. We ordered multiple appetizers and 2 pasta dishes, and the flourless chocolate cake. I would do it all over again, everything was absolutely delicious! Presentation was great, flavor was great, portion size was great, along with the atmosphere and service. When we were done Saul very kindly boxed up our food for us. Five stars for Saul and Coppolillo’s!

Had my rehearsal dinner here - it was a wonderful experience. Food was amazing and the staff was so accommodating. I have allergies to nuts and someone else in our party had a gluten intolerance and they made sure we were taken care of. Definitely get the calamari!
