I don’t often get to make strong recommendations for nice places to eat out, but when I do it's because it is absolutely worth it. My husband and I tried Corarima in Wakefield, and I couldn’t not give them my praise. The host who served us was one of the nicest, friendliest servers we’ve ever met, couldn’t tell us enough about the food, its origins, its originality, etc. We had a sharing plate, and it was absolutely incredible 🤩 Diners are given a leaflet with information about the family’s story, as well as Ethiopian coffee, teff (a fine grain) and Injera (the bread made from the milled teff grain), and various other components that make up Abyssinian cuisine. Perfect for gluten-free, vegan/vegetarian options. If you should get a chance, or if you’re looking for wonderful food in the area, we 100% recommend Corarima. There’s a reason they have 5* reviews (out of over 500) on Google and have won many awards You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful place, warm and helpful atmosphere, caters for all tastes inc vegan/gluten-free/the spice-averse XD Delicious drinks too, all fresh and tasty, would definitely go again if back in the area.

First time trying Abyssinian food, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were rich and delicious, and the berbere wedges were the best I've ever had. It was interesting to try the Telba, a flaxseed drink, which was surprisingly good, and the injera was perfect for me as a gluten-free vegetarian. Absolutely loved it!
