Corina Bakery

Today is my Mom's 75th birthday. She has food allergies, so I expect to pay more for a good cake. I ordered a small chocolate cake with vanilla frosting that's also gluten/soy/corn free. With the extra $15 for corn-free powdered sugar I paid $79. I told them it was for a celebration and asked them to put a 75 on top. They told me that, due to the ingredient limitations, they couldn't color the frosting and that the 75 would be white on white. I approved that and told them to just make it look nice. This is what I got. Did a professional decorator do this? It's yellow (is that even safe to eat based on what they told me on the phone when I ordered?). It's not proportional. It isn't even remotely celebratory looking. I could've done it better myself. I'm so disappointed. 3 stars because at least the cake is good.

This is the second time I’ve ordered a cake from Corina Bakery! Last year I was gluten free and the cake I got was FABULOUS! As of this year I found out I was allergic to dairy so for my birthday I got their Vegan, Gluten free cake and it was the best cake I have ever tasted! It’s moist, amazing flavor; amazing texture and on top of that amazing decoration! I had people who are not vegan and GF obsessed with it! Please don’t hesitate to come here for any of their baked goods that are vegan and gluten free.

Recently got a gluten free chocolate peanut butter pie for a family member’s birthday and it was incredible. Plenty of GF options for purchase in store as well. Highly recommend Corina!
