Sever taking our order had no understanding of what gluten free was. Consistently went to the kitchen to ask questions regarding our concerns but came back with random answers to different questions. Wrong main course then arrived, we agreed to keep the wrong main as we wanted to start our meals together and everyone else had food. The wrong main course was then also stone cold. On our way out a waitress accosted us and accused us of not paying our tab. When she checked and realised we had in fact payed our bill there was no attempt at an apology, she merely shrugged her shoulders and walked away.

This had been a family get together for a bite to eat & a few drinks.. With coffees to follow. I've got to say the Gluten free 10oz rib eye steak I had ordered, was cooked to perfection & I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Hubby had sized up on the mixed grill & my Step-Daughter had the steak sandwich.. Not a morsal was left, each plate cleared. There had been an initial mistake on my order, as a battered onion ring had been added to my plate..whoops. But the server immediately understood my concerns, my plate was whisked away, with an apology & the assurance that a fresh steak was being prepared for me. My meal arrived quickly, medium rare as I'd ordered. It was a visibly different steak served the 2nd time. Different shape & larger than the 1st..bonus..👍 So not just a case of the 1st meal being replated. I have Coeliac disease, so a big style intolerance to gluten containing items. Not just a dietary fad.. So it was reassuring to me, that the recognised the issues around cross contamination. I will definitely eat here again & I'm happy to recommend to others 5🌟
