Best salmon I've eaten in a decade! How do you do what you do? I'm a 35+ year local, and from day one onward, the food is always excellent! I was so delighted by the many gluten free entree options, and the best treat was the *gluten-free* fried green tomatoes (which my husband and cousin always order everywhere we go, but I am unable to enjoy, myself) I had 2 all for myself since I never get to have any, and everyone agreed the were the best they'd had, anywhere! YUM!

This restaurant is excellent for GF. Menu items are clearly marked. Some staff are GF, so they understand. They even have a dedicated fryer. The food on our visit was exceptionally good. I had the shrimp and grits. The Grits were creamy and cheesy. Very flavorful dish. My wife had the trout which can be made gluten-free by leaving off the the crust. She enjoyed it very much. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Asheville area.

I had an omelet of the day, with fresh asparagus and fresh peas, topped, I think, with a basil sauce. It was fabulous and the cheese grits were great! Also got gluten free toast.
