Cou Cou Rachou

Had a long out the front, but the staff was quick to get everyone through. The homemade pastries were so delicious with some vegetarian and gluten free options. The staff were friendly and helpful all while being quick on their feet our entire time we were there. A rather cute place and well worth a visit.

This is hands down my top place to stop in town for a quick pastry item and coffee. This bakery has multiple gluten free offerings which are all wonderful and I love how the fruit fillings and toppings change daily. Cou Cou Rachou is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and stays pretty busy on the rest of their opening days. If you get a chance to stop by, check out their cooler which they stock with an assortment of cold drinks, Gluten Free Rice Pudding, and usually a Chocolate Mousse option. This location also does large orders for takeout and you can pre-order cookies, cakes, pastries, and more in larger quantities. Definitely stop by and try a croissant or danish on your next trip to Charlottesville. You will not regret trying this place!
