We eat out a lot. Some experiences are good. Some not so good, and some, downright awful. But, our first visit to Court Street Kitchen was special.
We had ten people in our party which, in itself, often spells disaster. That’s a lot of people to serve and keep happy. Our server, Marisa, was ever present, but never intrusive. The restaurant manager was watchful, but careful to never interrupt our table conversations. Have you ever had to search for your waiter, craning your neck as if you were looking for someone lost in a crowd? Not here. They fully understand the concept of “service”.
Let’s talk about food. My girlfriend’s diet is gluten free (GF). So many restaurants don’t understand the problem GF people have when eating out. Court Street Kitchen has many GF options. Our server noticed my girlfriend was not trying the bread that was served and, on her own, brought a basket of GF flatbread to the table. I mean, talk about paying attention. Wow!
The risotto was perfect. The salads were delicious and our entrees were served hot and cooked as ordered. Dessert choices were plentiful and so good.
Court Street Kitchen is definitely our new “go to” place. Read my other reviews and you will see that I can be very critical about service, food and atmosphere. This is an A+ dining establishment.
