I really didn’t expect to love this place. I grew up in Mississippi and Louisiana and have an unfairly high standard of what seafood should taste like. This food passed the sniff test. Nah, it’s not winning a James Beard, but the staff is peppy and fun, the drinks and food were good, and you truly cannot beat the view and vibe.
Alyssa was a great server this past weekend and was able to help me eat celiac-safe gluten free food. (I got the grilled grouper with mashed potatoes.) She sweet talked the bartender to make us off-menu Painkillers, which were great. My MIL went back the next day and ordered another.
