I went there this last Thursday Oct. 17, 2024 around 6:00pm. They was pretty busy as usual around that time. However, we was able to get a table right away. We ordered just Ice water to drink as we usually do. My wife ordered a grilled chicken salad and informed the waitress that she had to be Gluten Free so no croutons. When her salad came out, they had croutons, but the manager took care of it right away. I had ordered the Fried Catfish that was supposed to be one fish and two sides, but gave me two pieces of fish, It was supposed be the $11.49 but charged me the other price. I wasn't complaining. The catfish was fried perfectly and tasted awesome. Not to overly salted either. I also got the steak fries and the corn as my sides. The corn was the best I tasted. It came out hot and buttery filled with flavor. The steak fries was crisp, not over cooked and just the amount of salt to where I didn't need to add to it. The service was over all pretty good. Normally I wouldn't expect too much as of late with any Cracker Barrell as we had several issues with service. But, this visit made up for it. I was very impressed. You have earned the right for me to give you guys another try as there aren't many places with a good selection of Gluten Free items as my wife has celiac disease.. The only other thing that was noteworthy is that the atmosphere was great and inviting. It was a little chilly though because they didn't have the fireplace wasn't lit. Thanks We will be back in the near future

Better than a Breakfast. Goodmorning traveler, there is a way to fuel up & take a load off. Time to peruse the store for the stuff you just didn't know was your way to a satisfaction you just hadn't time for before. It is the way to tune-up your mentality and a down-home moment where you remind yourself it is: "from that which you came from that is so much more clearer than where you're going". ***Adding some Gluten-Free options would make a better experience, such as GF Corn-Bread, Rice, Grits more available and an effort to distinguish the menu's GF options to not be vaguely labeled as "all the fixin's" ...maybe an alternate?: "non-wheat flower-child-accomodation" would be good Humor and Great Fun on a menu; Elevating the diversity to the fact we all need to eat and should enjoy it. Trying to be a "home-town comfort" while not being divisive is hard. Cracker-Barrell could represent how to "get-over-it & enjoy your meal".
