Crema Cafe

This is one of the best breakfast and lunch places in the city. The salmon omlette is outstanding, and so is the gobbler turkey sandwich. They usually have some kind of gluten-free pastry, too! The espresso here is wonderfully rich and smooth. If you like coffee drinks, Crema has the best latte in the city.

My wife has Celiac Dx so ordered Gluten free French toast which she had ordered before and absolutely loved. Today, she cleared told the server that she needed the Gluten-free version- and the server acknowledged. The dish arrived and she began eating it, about halfway through, we realized it was not Gluten free. My wife has been sick all day and in pain from this error. Lesson learned, if you have a severe gluten allergy, question the dish when it arrives, not just when you order.
