Crepes and Coffee

This is our second time here. We came last year and were blown away by how great everything was. This year was so disappointing. The building upgrade was very cute, but that's where the good stuff ended. We came around dinner time and were the only ones there. The staff seemed very put out that we were there and wanting to eat. They were less than helpful and didn't know the answers to our questions. It felt like they couldn't wait for us to get out of there. The coffee was much weaker this year and very standard mid grade stuff. Nothing special. On the second to last bite of my crepe, which was good up to that point, I found a hair cooked into my crepe. That really killed my appetite and desire to come back here again. By that point, I was already basically done with the food and the employees less than helpful attitude when we first came in made me just decide to cut my losses and not say anything. As a side note, my husband is gluten free and they seemed knowledgeable about it, but he felt sick after eating so I would say this isn't a safe place to eat if you have celiac issues. I'd definitely think twice before coming here which is such a bummer because it used to be so great. Hopefully they can make it back to that point.

Crepes and Coffee is phenomenal! We took the family and everyone found something that sounded good and everybody loved what they got! I am a very sensitive celiac and am always afraid to try new places. Based on some of the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! The employees went WAY above and beyond to accommodate me. They cleaned everything, they washed their hands and changed gloves, and used new utensils. The buckwheat crepes were thick, filling, and insanely good! We will be going back next time we're in town!
