Myself and my husband were dining with a couple of friends. We have never visited previously but will be sure to return. My husband is celiac and they had a whole separate menu for him but it’s the staff that are the real hidden gem. So friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by Georgina and looked after by Adele. ( a waitress who had taken such great off us previously). They helped us choose a gluten free option on the lunch menu for my husband so he could be included with us. We had the budget friendly lunch menu and I had the fish goujons were beautifully crisp and the fish soft and flakey. He had gammon with a fresh runny egg.
All four of us had the sticky toffee for afters , which was so light and soft. I want the recipe.
We were told upon paying that the chef that had cooked for us was Bertie. We cannot wait to return and sample more of his cooking. A weekend menu was mentioned so we will be booking in soon.
