PLACE NOT SUITABLE FOR COELIA OR ANYONE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES!!!! I always go to Croaks, since I am coeliac and they have always been careful with the issue of cross-contamination. That was a while ago, lately they seemed more careless and the waiters didn't seem to have much idea about contamination, but I overlooked it. Today, June 9th at 10:00 pm I ordered a gluten-free burger, and they brought it to me with brioche bread, so far so good because everyone can make mistakes, the problem was when the waitress came back 30 seconds later and I asked her if she had only changed the bread. She dodged the question and in the end she went back to the kitchen. He comes back 30 seconds later assuring me that the burger is new, knowing that such a thing is impossible, I have worked in hospitality and what's more, when you open it, you can see the crumbs from the bun. My partner and I paid for the burgers and I left without eating anything, very disappointed and sad, and very angry about the fact that several people have deliberately tried to deceive me, despite having informed me that I am celiac, very symptomatic and that if only the bread had been changed I would have a very bad time, I will never go back again and I will never tire of discouraging people around me from going there, just to be safe, imagine if it had happened to a person with a very strong allergy... I don't even want to imagine it. I will ask for the complaints form because I think it is a very serious malpractice...
