Came for New Year’s Eve meal with some family. Food was good, staff were attentive, but man, you’ve got to address your alcohol prices. £12.80 for half a glass of red wine and some lemonade, £13 for a white wine…..if you suffer from Coeliac disease expect to be penalised and pay more for your food. It’s a shame that the star system only allows ratings for Food, Service and Atmosphere. I think one should be created for ‘Prices’ as well.
It’s only Musselburgh not Edinburgh.
Also, this automatically adding a service charge to a bill is a bit presumptive of your service. Customers need to have the choice of what to leave….this isn't America !
