Crooked Hen

I live in MD, but was visiting my dad & found this spot! It’s the first time I’ve been out to eat breakfast since dx with celiac. So many gf choices, staff reassured me of all their precautions, including a separate toaster. I had the avocado toast & a slice of French toast. I won’t lie, the bread being gf, will never match real bread- but this was a treat. The staff was excellent & I felt comfortable & safe. I highly recommend!!

We've done take out here twice. I honestly don't really remember much about the first time, except my daughter loved their gluten free pancakes. They are fluffy and the sausage patty is yummy. Food was pretty good, except 1) my potatoes were missing the onions that I paid extra for. 2) the chimchurri was nearly all oil with a small amount of the solid portion (and the chimchurri was the main reason I ordered this product dish!) 3) I was charged a 3.5% service fee (which is typically- at other restaurants- only for those who use credit card. However, except I paid with cash - why not just incorporate it into the prices? But the prices are already a bit high already, comparatively. 🤷‍♀️) Not sure we will be back.
