We had to find a place to stop and eat lunch after being on the road all morning and this was the first place that we found. Our family eats gluten free and we’ve found it a bit trickier to find grilled options in the south. The entire staff there is so kind. Our service was great and they didn’t seem annoyed by my kids who were a little antsy from being in the car so long.
The food was okay. The portions are pretty small but we liked what we ordered. The fries weren’t hot but everything else seemed fresh. The waitress was even kind enough to offer us suggestions on what to order on the menu so it was more cost effective which we appreciated.
The lighting is pretty dim and you can tell it’s an older restaurant but overall, it was clean and we were relieved to have found it and we were able to feed everyone without complaints. We would stop in again.
