So, this may be a long one... I have known both Dawn and Jonathon for several years. I have, so far, taken sustenance form nearly their entire arsenal of bakery goods... Simply, they are both gods of gluten.
From Jonathon's sourdough (Honey Flax Seed is a current favorite), to Dawn's laminated pastries, morning buns, "mom tarts" the ethic, the intent, the evolution of what they make, for their customers to enjoy is some of the best that Western North Carolina has to offer.
I am proud to call them my friends, even happier at their successes in creating amazing baked goods for friends and visitors alike.
Simply theya re NO joke in the bakery game, and you will kick yourself for not buying extra every time you are there...
