Crystal Spring Grocery Co.

A lovely brunch with my Fab neighbors who are a part of our “little dinner club… “ as always, wonderful conversation , company and food. We ate at Crystal Springs grocery Co. one of our friends Linda just found a fabulous apartment and we were celebrating her new neighborhood. They have delicious food and coffee. ( and they have gluten-free bread and are very cautious about my celiac which I appreciate ) They also have prepared food ,wines, mixers and packaged goods… They are local , they’re fabulous and you should check them out !

Genuinely one of the most compassionate, welcoming, patient, and understanding service teams when it comes to dietary restrictions. As someone who visits Roanoke often from out of town with gluten and dairy intolerance, the options for places where I can get grab and go food with flexible hours (they are open on Sunday) are limited. I only wish I had found this place sooner! I had the fried chicken sandwich but substituted the fried chicken for turkey and a brunch salad removing the cheese and adding grilled chicken and both were amazing. The turkey was not deli sliced turkey it was very thick and generous. They use Udi’s buns. I was told the fried chicken is in a dedicated fryer and gluten free. Wonderful business and you can really tell they put a lot of care into everything they do. I look forward to supporting them more in the future!
