Crystal Beer Parlor

Stopped here for lunch during our bus tour. Wow, it was really good. My wife had the crystal shrimp salad sandwich (got it gluten-free; loved it) and I had the fried flounder reuben (so, so, so good). It was a great meal in a cool place with some history.

Hands down maybe the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. Which I was told by our server “ours are the best”, which lived I to the acclaim. I also had the collards which were perfect. I have celiac disease, very sensitive (like ER visit level) to cross contamination and was well taken care of by our server. Also, either the owner or manager came by our table twice yo check on how the amazing food was tasting and again to make sure we had everything we could need. A new favorite in Savannah! PS, The Bowl of Soul was also ordered and loved by the rest of entire table that tried it.

Came during the lunch hour, no wait to be seated. All the staff (hostess, waitress, kitchen, and clean up members) were very attentive! Food came within 10-15 minutes after we ordered: hot and burger was cooked exactly to my liking. I had a burger with gluten free bun cooked medium and it had the perfect pink center. My friend had the meatloaf special and said it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
