Cup of Joy Cafe Smoothie, Acai Bowls, Coffee and More

First time here, I was a little hesitant not sure what to expect walking in this business. Best way to describe it at first is toast, smoothies and postcards. That being said, what nice little place, this is a family owned establishment along with three other locations and what a great menu! This is organic gluten-free vegan and no sugar added. I love the transparency of the menu. I met Arti one of the family members. She was a very nice person to talk with, and their vision is to offer nothing but healthy foods, and she was adamant about what we put into our bodies. I love that I ordered two menu items one slice of avocado toast served on 21 grain organic bread with fresh, sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, baby arugula, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. This was done perfectly just the right amount of toppings and I also ordered the hummus toast. Served on the same bread with cherry tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, and zaatar seasoning. These both were done perfectly in addition to that I had a peanut butter, dark chocolate smoothie which had banana dark raw cocoa powder, homemade peanut butter and almond milk. This also was perfect. I like the fact that it’s unsweetened, which really makes the dark chocolate stand out. I love small businesses like that and try to support them as much as possible because they have so much invested in what they do. I find that family owned businesses put in more effort to serve the best product possible as if they were serving themselves that speaks volumes. Thank you for a great meal. I can’t wait to get up here to try the sprouts sandwich next!

I usually never take the time to write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it as there are no truly healthy spots in these parts of town. I am absolutely fanatical about my food. And you can never find a vegan gluten free as well as organic place. The toast I had was absolutely deliciou and my acai bowl was perfection!!! Can't wait to order from here again.
