This business has been under new management for the past several months and the improvement is remarkable. Previously, the atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming, service was slow, and the checkout procedure was inefficient (and weird when it came to tips on credit cards). All that has changed!!! Even better, the baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and coffee have NOT changed -- all of which were wonderful before. Breakfast sandwiches offer a vegetarian "meat" option. More gluten-free bakery items have appeared as well, which is great. We really enjoy coming here now! Thanks for taking this little spot from good to great! Now, if you could just pretty please be open on Sundays..... :)

Prices are quite fair, given the quality and quantity that they are serving. For those of us that are too cheap there’s a McDonald’s and a Dunkin’ Donuts down the road a few miles. The cup and crumb has a dedicated group of servers bakers and staff. It is the only bakery north of Manchester that has gluten free baked goods, in addition to fine pastries. This is a must stop when you’re in Moultonborough!
