Unfortunately the Gluten Free options of food were very limited and to then find out about 70% of the menu was unavailable on the day of our visit really put a downer on the day. I think the gluten free options could be alot better as the person for was GF in our group felt extremely excluded from the Sunday lunch as they only had the option of a salad or hunters chicken which is not something they would chose to eat out at a restaurant. The rest of the food was ok however the steak was overcooked for my liking dispute asking for medium rare it came out well over done and with the issue of the GF meal we just decided to eat and leave. Hopefully the menu will improve aswell as available of the GF options to encourage us to return. Service was great and the complaints dealt with professionally

Had a catchup with some friends here last night. Staff were all great and very friendly and helpful. I was shown the rooms thry offer for overnight stays by Jamie the Manager who explained prices and their different styles of room. Staff were excellent at looking after our table and although the restaurant was quiet being a Monday, there was still a fantastic atmosphere. Food was incredible. Being celiac, I asked for an allergen menu and they have a gluten free specific menu which was great. Had the Hunters chicken followed by brownie and both were delicious and left me feeling adequately full with a nice calm stomach. Would 100% recommend this place for drinks, meals and even their accommodation. Nice to find a good pub with a great team running it. Thanks guys, will return.
