We visited on a Tuesday night in high tourist season, and although the friendly staff found us a table, I would recommend booking. Vegan and gluten free dishes were highlighted on the menu (accessed via a QR code). The food was excellent. The restaurant is not licensed but allows you to take your own alcohol, whereas non alcoholic drinks are available to purchase.
