The food was very delicious and filling. We ordered a pitcher of margarita which was very good.
They have gluten free options.
When we ordered the food we indicated that one of the people had celiac disease and that we would all order gluten-free food to avoid contamination. But when the dessert arrived, we ordered a cake (which has a symbol for both gluten and gluten), but we were confident since we indicated it at the beginning and did not specify and they gave us the cake with gluten for a few wafers. I feel that in the hospitality industry there is a lack of training and understanding about this disease, since they are able to say "put the wafer away and nothing will happen", yes, if it happens, the dish is contaminated, this is not like removing the peas that you don't like from a dish.
I have no complaints with the place because they were very friendly, the food was luxurious, I would only ask for more training in these cases or at least ask since you have two options, do you want it with or without gluten? Just like when you order a Fanta and they ask you for lemon or orange? This is already something of a suggestion to make life easier for people with this disease.
And if there is someone with celiac who reads me, it is a recommended and very rich site, just specify things each time for your safety ❤️
