Great pub for food and a beer. Dog and child friendly, with a great selection of food for all ages (this includes smaller larger plates on the main menu).
We had a gluten free and dairy free diner and all were catered for easily and the food was no less delicious.
Pies looked amazing, but can recommend the Calver fried chicken and the Schwarma

We stopped by without a reservation on Boxing Day and were warmly welcomed.
Delicious pheasant pie, gluten-free chicken pie, and large crisp fish and chips. Lovely Malbec.
Easy parking, close to lovely walks.
Highly recommend.
