D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro - Cottonwood Albuquerque

My husband and I stopped by Lescombes for the first time because we were recommended by Mika Fedorov. I would would say that our dining experience was exceptional. We were offered a wine tasting immediately upon arrival. We were offered the 6*3*1 Malvasia-Riesling this was a crisp and refreshing white wine. This is perfect for a hot afternoon and entertaining friends. We did indeed buy that bottle. After the wine tasting we did try the red wine flight and a build your own custom flight of wine. We started off with a great appetizer the Jalapeno Bacon wrapped shrimp. It was delicious! I ordered the Southwest Meatloaf I usually never order Meatloaf but made an exception for Lescomes. I'm glad I did it was very tasty and I would definitely recommend it. My husband ordered the Pasta New Mexico this meal was also very tasty and they have a gluten free option! At last we decided to go for the dessert. We ordered the Chocolate Torte. Fantastic! When we left we definitely purchased 4 bottles of wine 2 of the 6*3*1 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2 of the 6*3*1 Malvasia-Riesling. Now to the environment this place has a definite romantic vibe great for a date night or lunch. The patio is spectacular with amazing views. I was a little unsure of the robots they added to help with service. I feel like that makes it lose its personal touch. This place is on the higher end and nothing and I mean nothing can replace a humans personal touch on making you feel welcome. That was a little meet (The Jetsons) for me. Somethings AI technology should not replace humans at all. Especially in a higher end winery & bistro. Other then that yes I would definitely reccomend you come and check this place out. Loved this place, was in town for a week and met up with my friends here. Great wine, view, and prices. I’m celiac and they accommodated my allergy and had plenty of options, and it was delicious!
