DOJA Tea Lounge

I emailed Doja lounge a few days ago, asking if they had gluten free scones available for walk-ins. They emailed back almost immediately and said yes they did and gave me the prices and everything, so I emailed back and let them know I would be coming in today with two other people. Today we walked in and were informed that they were not doing walk-ins AND weren’t even doing takeout scones. They should have said something when I let them know I was coming in, this was very unsatisfactorily handled.

Went today to Doja Tea Lounge for a late belated birthday gift to our niece. We went in blind with a reservation, not knowing what to expect and only going off of some pictures of what Doja was all about. Thankfully, this was one of the best experiences we've ever had at a sit down restaurant/lounge! The ambiance is 10 stars. The hostesses were pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgeable! While we all were tea drinkers, they were able to recommend what teas would go well with the sampling tower that came with our tea, and it helped for us to decide through the 50 some odd tea selection they have available. Our two favorites were the Berry Nectar and the Summertime Elixir. The entire interior felt VERY upscale and was very quiet. Food presentation-wise was AMAZING. Our hostesses went through line by line on what we received in our experience, and answered any questions we had without hesitation. Everything on the platter was fresh, very tasty and was perfectly portioned to make you feel good but not full by the end of it. Definitely eat it from the bottom to the top as intended! On a side note, they have a lot of options available for dietary needs, including an entire gluten free tower, vegetarian options and caffeine free teas - black, green, white and herbal blends across the 50 selections. For the price, this was hands down one of the best experiences we've had in recent memory and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that wants a pleasant little afternoon out for a date, lunch with friends or family. This is a severely underrated gem in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
