My husband and I enjoy going out to dinner and do not mind paying for an experience that is worth it, Dune is most certainly not worth it. The service is subpar, the restaurant dirty and everything is overpriced. We recently went for dinner and sat at the bar, we had to ask the bartender to clean the bar, which was covered with food and spilled drinks. We then had numerous issues with our food and drink orders. My husband’s margarita had mojito spearmint. After explicitly saying my husband could not eat their fries because he has celiac, his steak came out with the fries instead of the substitute side he had requested. To make matters worse, my food came out about 15 minutes after my husband’s food came out and only after we asked for it 3 separate times. The delay in my order meant that we were unable to eat together. Overall, it was a terrible experience and no one apologized for the numerous mistakes and inconveniences that we encountered. I tried to reach to speak to the manager at least 3 times but they do not care enough to answer the phone or call back.

We sat at a table for seven, however arranged the bill to be on 3 separate checks. When we first sat down, the server asked us if we wanted sparkling water or still water. I said that we do not want sparkling water, regular water is fine. I was expecting regular treated tap water. Throughout the evening the servers filled up our glasses several times as they saw the glasses nearing empty. We never asked. When the check came, $30 for water was added to my bill. I questioned it and the server said that we asked for water, and that she offered ice water which she did not. We ordered a bottle of wine, but they did not have it, and they let us know that they were chilling another similar bottle. It was on the warm side. I should not have accepted it. We had a beautiful gluten free bread, which each person got one small piece. Later in the evening, between our first course, and second, a man placed two more plates of bread rolls, on the table, as I reached for one, inches away, he turned and grabbed them back as said, not your table. He then said that he would bring us some. My fingers touched the piece however I was unable to grab it. That's close! (Never got more bread). The meals came for six of us, and we had to start them, otherwise they would have been cold. The seventh person got their meal when we were half way through. The fish was over cooked and not at all well presented. (You can get real wild caught sea bass at other restaurants, this was not the good stuff!) Much tastier options at other establishments. My friend asked for a glass of wine, after the bottle was finished. They charged $19 a glass and it was not the same wine as the bottle, but why not the $15 glass? A coffee with bailey's $19, yikes! The meal for the three of us was $427. The food was nothing extraordinary, and much better value at so many other restaurants. The atmosphere was excellent, and the service was below average. The server never smiled once during our visit. Would I recommend this restaurant or go back again? Not really, there are better choices in the area which serve more elevated food and better value and presentation.
