If I could give the service 10 stars, I would. We originally were supposed to go to the bar next door for tapas, but since a member of our party needed a handicapped accessible table, they recommended we try Dailo. Our party was reticent to try the tasting menu but everything far exceeded our expectations. The waiter immediately catered to all of us, including our varied dietary restrictions (gluten, shellfish, vegetarian) and in cases where they could not accommodate someone’s needs, a separate dish was brought for that course. The entire experience was exquisite.
From the first course, a sample of Tom Yum soup, to the desert wine at the end every single dish was innovative. The wine pairing even impressed a member of our party who is a bit of a wine connoisseur with his own collection- the sommelier brought varietals he had never tried. The dishes that stood out the most were the scallops with a Yuzu cream sauce and wasabi peas, fried watermelon with pork floss, betel leaf appetizer, the fried trout, and duck pastrami. But most importantly, the waiter Jeff made everyone in our party feel special and content. A truly magical experience we will never forget.
