Dalton's Cakes

This British bakehouse is phenomenal, personable, and not insanely priced. I'm not even gluten free and I loved it. My friend has celiac disease and is so limited when it comes to wheat eats so we went there as a small group to try it out and have some weekend fun. We each drooled over everything we ordered, (and I have a professional baking background so I'm pretty discerning)... Lemon bars, raspberry cake, other vanilla cake of some kind, sprinkled donuts and lattes. Go get them. Now. You're welcome. When I'm in the area again I will definitely be back for another sugar rush.

I called in an order for a cupcake bouquet and was extremely disappointed in the execution, presentation, and flavor of the cupcakes. Instead of receiving a bouquet, there were 14 separate cupcakes that vaguely resembled flowers. None of the other discussed decorations were included. Additionally, the flavors themselves (vanilla, lemon, and red velvet) were underwhelming— especially the red velvet. I don’t normally leave negative reviews for gluten free bakeries, because I’m usually so grateful to find one, but this was truly off the mark.

Incredible baked goods! Highly recommend the mini cakes, donuts and muffins. All gluten free and almost all are dairy free, they’re great at assisting with ingredient questions. So friendly and a cute spot to get coffee and a pastry or take a bunch to go. Very affordable!
