Damn Fine Cafe

My 1st visit here today 15/3/24.Specials boards on wall.large selection .Cafe caters for vegetarians and Gluten Free too .Which will be of great interest to a couple of friends .

Food really nice but service quite poor. Got seated quickly, ordered at counter, all easy, but drinks didnt come for about 20+ mins and then came out at different times. Clearly had staff issues as there was a lot of whinging from behind the counter to a customer (who clearly also works there) moaning about the chef not coming in etc, customers dont want to hear about the business hassles... be cautious about gluten free as both my wife and daughter were poorly on the night. They are both coealic and we are very very careful. Not had a glutening for a very long time but suspected after eating breakfast, its the only common thing eaten in the last few days. Cant say for 100% but there is nothing else we can put it down to.
